Sidney's Scrutiny

This goat was abandoned and now lives at a sanctuary for farmed animals. I wanted the shallow depth of field in the photograph to take him out of his surroundings so that we can appreciate him as an individual. His skeptical and slightly sorrowful gaze tell the story of what he has been through. An intelligent animal who has seen a harsh side of the world.
